ASPEN SKIING

Tucked in the valley between Aspen's four famous mountains, Aspen Meadows Resort is a premier Colorado ski resort for the ski or snowboard enthusiast. World-class skiing and snowboarding await at nearby Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk. World-renowned for fresh powder, no lift lines and miles of runs for skiers and snowboarders of every level, these Aspen ski mountains make it easy for you to enjoy your Colorado ski vacation.

And at Aspen Meadows Resort, we make it even easier. We offer a complimentary shuttle from our Colorado resort to the Ruby Park Transportation Center, so getting to the slopes is simple. Once there, save time and head straight for the slopes by renting your equipment and purchasing your Aspen ski lift tickets in advance through our partnerships with both Aspen Sports and the Aspen Skiing Company. With so many exciting options, leaving the mountains might be the biggest challenge of all.

Aspen Mountain (AJAX)

Aspen Mountain is suited to both advanced and intermediate level skiers. This Colorado ski mountain caters to mogul lovers and to those who simply like to cruise on long, groomed trails. From the base area of Aspen Mountain catch the Silver Queen Gondola directly to the summit. Here the steep mogul runs begin at the tops of the ridges and meet up with the wide, groomed trails in the gullies leading back down to the base area.

Aspen Highlands

With some of the most stunning vistas and challenging big-mountain Colorado ski terrain, Aspen Highlands is one of Aspen’s best. And it just keeps getting better – with the Deep Temerity lift and more than 237 acres of Aspen ski terrain added over the last three seasons.

Snowmass

Snowmass boasts 3,312 acres of terrain the most vertical in the United States. Suitable for all skiing and snowboarding levels, this Colorado ski mountain has cruisers, glades, steeps, terrain parks and halfpipes. With an astounding 21 lifts and 91 trails, we know you’ll keep coming back.

Buttermilk

Buttermilk is famous for being the longstanding home of the ESPN Winter X Games. This Aspen mountain has five awesome terrain parks, one superpipe and one beginner terrain park. The two mile long ‘Crazy T’rain Park’ has more than 50 rails, jumps, tabletops, hits and spines! And the Olympic-caliber, 22-foot superpipe is one of only three in North America.

If cross country skiing is more your style, Aspen Meadows Resort puts you in the center of it all. Our Aspen resort is ideally located for easy access to Aspen Snowmass Nordic Trail System, the largest free-groomed cross country ski system in North America.

Aspen Snowmass Nordic Trail System

The Aspen Snowmass Nordic Trail System is unique to North America because it links two towns – Aspen and Snowmass Village – via the Owl Creek Trail which meanders through meadows, wooded areas and across three distinct valleys. In addition, this Aspen ski system has trails east of Aspen on the North Star Nature Preserve, along the Roaring Fork River, and adjacent to Aspen High School and the Aspen Valley Ski Club training building. It also has trails adjacent to the Snowmass Club, a full-service athletic club, and the Sage Restaurant, offering great lunch and dinner menus. Two top-notch cross country ski centers are located at each end of the trail, one on the Aspen Golf Course and one on the Snowmass Golf Course. The combination of the varied, entertaining Colorado ski trails, wonderful vistas and numerous amenities make the Aspen Snowmass Nordic Trail System a unique and rewarding to place to ski and snowshoe.
